Title: Brand & Product Manager
Job Purpose
The position is responsible for driving the overall performance, positioning, and profitability of assigned home appliance brands. This includes managing market competitiveness, pricing strategy, product lifecycle, PSI (Purchase–Sales–Inventory), in-store execution, and achieving sales and margin targets.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities
- Develop and execute brand strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Ensure strong brand positioning across all retail channels.
- Monitor brand performance and recommend growth initiatives.
- Conduct regular benchmarking analysis against competitors (pricing, product features, promotions, market share).
- Track market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Provide actionable insights to improve brand competitiveness.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies in line with market positioning and profitability targets.
- Manage product costing, margins, and profitability analysis.
- Ensure pricing consistency across all sales channels.
- Recommend promotional pricing and discount structures.
- Monitor and manage PSI to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate with supply chain and sales teams for demand planning.
- Prevent overstocking or stock shortages.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities
- Analyze sales trends to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Ensure proper product placement in showrooms and retail outlets.
- Optimize shelf visibility, display standards, and planograms.
- Coordinate with retail teams to enhance customer experience.
- Monitor execution of brand guidelines at all locations.
- Set and monitor sales targets for assigned brands.
- Track performance vs. targets and take corrective actions.
- Work closely with sales teams to drive sell-out.
- Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Coordinate ATL/BTL activities (advertising, in-store promotions, digital campaigns).
- Evaluate ROI of marketing activities.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain an annual Brand Marketing Calendar aligned with product launches, seasonal campaigns, trade events, and promotional cycles.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Department on the planning and execution of campaigns and promotions, ensuring brand consistency, timely delivery of assets, and alignment with commercial objectives.
- Manage SKU and category portfolio for assigned brands; oversee product listing, ranging decisions, and assortment planning to ensure optimal coverage across all channels.
- Coordinate product listing for offline retail (OR) and online channels, ensuring accurate product data, imagery, specifications, and pricing are live and maintained.
- Develop and manage brand collateral including catalogues, brochures, and sales support materials; ensure availability and timely updates across all sales teams and retail locations.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities
- Prepare product training materials for internal sales and retail staff; develop and execute new product introduction (NPI) launching kits covering key features, positioning, pricing, and selling points.
- Manage vendor claims process for assigned brands; track, submit, and follow up on A&P accruals, co-marketing claims, rebates, and support entitlements to ensure timely settlement with brand principals.
- Monitor and drive achievement of purchase targets for assigned brands; coordinate with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to align purchase plans with sales forecasts, budget commitments, and brand principal agreements
Working Environment
- Office and field-based role (40–50% field visits).
- Frequent visits to dealers, showrooms, distributors, and retail branches.
- Regular market surveys and competitor benchmarking activities.
- Participation in product launches, promotional campaigns, and retail activations.
- Coordination with suppliers and internal departments under tight deadlines.
- Extended working hours during peak sales periods, campaigns, and product launches.
- Frequent use of reporting systems, dashboards, and sales analysis tools.
- Frequent travel across regions for business reviews and market evaluations.

Background Knowledge and Experience

Education Level – Minimum Preferred
|
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or related field. |

Professional Qualifications or licences |
Brand Management, Category Management, or Trade Marketing certification preferred. Advanced training in pricing strategy, retail management, or sales forecasting is an advantage. |

Work Experience |
5–7 years of experience in Brand Management, Category Management, or Commercial Operations.
